It is almost spring here in Myrtle Beach!  Soon golfers will be flocking to “The Golf Capital of the World” to chase the little white ball (or yellow or whatever color players may play these days).  One of the older and in our humble opinion, better courses in Myrtle Beach will be ready for them.  Arcadian Shores has been a staple on many golfers package lists for decades and is also having a resurgence since the make-over it received last year.

“We are so happy with how the golf course has turned out now that we have had some time to see how it holds up to play and busy tee sheets since we re-opened,” says Frank Coughlin, PGA General Manager.  “It has been fun talking to golfers that have played here in years past and hear what they have to say about the new clubhouse as well as the new greens and other changes.”

The golf course is rounding into amazing condition as we roll out of winter and into the spring season!  March is right around the corner and the daily tee sheets for the 8-10 weeks are filling up fast.  Golfers that haven’t already booked a tee time either through a golf package or just for a single round need to hurry or they might not get a chance to play this gem.  Word has gotten out about how great this old Rees Jones design is back and better than ever and golfers want to check it out for themselves.

Jarrin Josue, Director of Golf at Compass Cove Resort says, “It is amazing the number of requests I have gotten over the winter from my golf groups that want to play Arcadian Shores.  The buzz is out there and guys want to check it out for themselves!”

Now is the time to make a tee time for anyone that would like to visit Arcadian and experience it first hand.  Click on the “Tee Times” tab at the top of the page or call the golf shop directly at 843.449.5217 and one of our friendly golf shop staff members will be happy to assist you.
